We want our children to grow into adults who are thoughtful, compassionate, and socially conscious. Our Religious Education program covers a wide variety of topics, such as ethical living, Unitarian Universalist principles and heritage, and religions of the world, including Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, and humanist teachings.
Children begin each Sunday in our Worship service, and leave at approximately 11:15 for their own, which are held in the library. They are brought back in for our closing circle.

The 2011-2012 children’s class includes a rather wide age range, and our talented Religious Education teacher, Ginger Fisher, works hard to include everyone in her lessons. She is assisted each week by another adult from the congregation. Our current curriculum is “Creating Home.”
Newcomers are welcome to join our class at any time. If you plan to bring an infant to our service and would like nursery care, or have any questions about our children’s program, please get in touch with Rev. Bonnie. She can be reached at minister.uufnb@mac.com or (925) 256-4334.
